1) What is your education, background and how did you get the position?

 I completed my 4 year Bachelors Degree in Economics at St. Francis Xavier University in May 2018. Following graduation, I wasn't really sure what I wanted to do. I applied to a multitude of places, and ended up landing an internship within the Sports Industry. Through that internship, I was able to develop a number of great relationships. Those relationships propelled me to where I am today, as I was presented a job opportunity right out of my internship position.

2) What is your role within the organization entail?

 My main role is in Client Relations. I handle the day to day requests, as well as some administrative stuff behind the scenes. The clients will let me know what they're looking for, from dinner reservations, to purchasing cars, planning vacations, the list is endless. I take care of the rest, and do my best to keep them happy!

3) What skills do you believe make the most difference in your field of work?

 I think, for me, the social aspect is really big. That's one skill I find myself needing day in and day out. Whether it's creating, building, or maintaining relationships, I think it's one of the most valuable skills you can have. It might be a client, a colleague, or someone you're meeting for the first time. Every one of those interactions is meaningful, and you never know when, and how those relationships may help you going forward.

4) Do you have any career advice towards students who want to enter the industry?

Try your best to align your interests with your education. I love sports, but I was never going to be a professional athlete. I went and got an education, and then knocked on as many doors as I could. Once you're there, work like hell, and there's no questions you will reap the benefits.
